Oak Island is located on the Atlantic Ocean just below Wilmington, NC. The island runs from east to west and has the Atlantic as a southern exposure to homes constructed on that side of the island. Kings Lynn is located at the very west end of the island. Kings Lynn is situated between The Atlantic Ocean on the south and Davis Canal on the north. At the far west end of the island (approx 1 mile from the lot) is the Inter-coastal Waterway. At the present time access to the island is via a bridge from the mainland. A new bridge, closer to the lot, is to be constructed that will make access to the mainland much easier – bringing North Myrtle Beach (for the golfers) within a 30 minute drive.
The Kings Lynn Section is considered to be the nicest area of the island. There is no commercial activity in Kings Lynn and it is controlled by the area covenants. When entering Kings Lynn the lot is the third lot in the “V� of West Beach and Kings Lynn Drives. It is the only “street to street� lot left in Kings Lynn and is considered to be a prime “second row� lot. The restricted Kings Lynn beach access is less than 50 yards west on West Beach Drive.
